We're hiring a SoC Test Engineer for a global semiconductor company developing flagship automotive SoCs — large-scale chips integrating CPU, cache, memory, high-speed interfaces, AI, video, functional safety, and security — powering the intelligence and electrification of next-generation vehicles.

About the role

With the expansion of mass production of automotive SoCs, there is a growing need for speed in decision-making and technical leadership in product testing.

Their department is driven by the field, handling everything from test specification design to mass production startup, OSAT collaboration, and cost improvement.

They are looking for a test engineer who can lead the improvement of quality, cost, and productivity as a core member of their product testing team.

Responsibilities

Perform the following product testing tasks for automotive SOC products (3nm/7nm products, etc.).

LSI characteristic verification and test specification design and verification.
Development of test programs and jigs/fixtures using LSI testers (from shipment selection to mass production and product evaluation).
Test and development work after transition to mass production (planning to execution)
Selection, setup, and coordination of equipment and OSATs to achieve automotive quality.
Product consolidation

Qualifications

【MUST】

Over 3 years of experience in evaluating semiconductor products (digital and analog) or using LSI testers.
Candidates should have experience in test programming/debugging methods, product evaluation, and experience in investigating improvements based on measurement results and considering test standards.
Japanese: Native level
English: Able to understand what the other person is saying.

【WANT】

Programming experience (C, C++, etc.) and semiconductor reliability technology.
