Our client is an agentic harness for organizations — the layer that sits above a company's
scattered systems (CRM, ERP, finance, knowledge bases) and lets AI agents reason and act
across them in the business's own vocabulary. They serve two markets on shared substrate:
  • Enterprises modernizing how operations actually run
  • Defense and Government missions that demand sovereign, air-gapped deployment
They're a small, senior team building for the long arc — restrained in how they talk, ambitious in what they build. They'd rather ship one capability that compounds than ten features that don't. The role You'll own the surfaces people use to work with agents: the interfaces (chat today;
embedded/mobile later), the artifacts agents produce (dashboards, apps), and the experience of authoring automations. This is where their platform stops being a demo and becomes something people trust with real work — and where their product taste shows up most.
Agentic software is new enough that the right patterns don't exist yet. You'll define them. You'll partner closely with their product designer and full-stack engineers, and you'll work in tight loops with the model and runtime teams, because the best agent experiences are built right up against what the models can do.

What you'll do

  • Own the interface surfaces end-to-end — streaming, threading, multi-user, multi-modal
input — and lead how they generalize beyond chat.
  • Shape how agent output becomes a real deliverable: typed, addressable, versioned, and
shareable artifacts, including generative and structured UI.
  • Own the automations authoring experience and the event-driven surfaces that make
    work feel live.
  • Turn ambiguity into shipped product: prototype, put it in front of users, and iterate —
discovery through ship, not a single slice.
  • Set the bar for how agentic software should feel, in partnership with design and
    engineering.

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years in product management with increasing scope, including time at a startup or in
    genuine 0-to-1 ambiguity.
  • Shipped a complex, interactive product surface end-to-end — not a settings page or
    a roadmap you inherited.
  • Design is integral to how you work. Strong product and UX instincts; you treat the
interface as the product, not a skin on top of it.
  • Built with AI — shipped an AI- or agent-powered product, and you're comfortable
    designing for probabilistic, non-deterministic behavior.
  • Engineering-grade technical judgment: you make and defend technical calls alongside
    senior engineers.
  • First-principles thinker and sharp problem-definer — you frame the problem before
    reaching for a solution.
  • An excellent writer. You can produce a crisp argument, not just a ticket.
  • Government, defense, or other regulated-industry background — the defense gate is live
    this year.

Nice to have

  • Built generative-UI, canvas, notebook, or other agent-driven interfaces.
  • A design background, or a track record working shoulder-to-shoulder with strong
    designers.
  • Experience in consumer/prosumer AI products or design-led B2B tools.
