Senior Product Manager, Enterprise

Full-Time

Apply for this job

Our client is an agentic harness for organizations: the layer that sits above a company's scattered systems (CRM, ERP, finance, knowledge bases) and lets AI agents reason and act across them in the business's own vocabulary. They serve two markets on shared substrate:

  • Enterprises modernizing how operations actually run
  • Defense and government missions that demand sovereign, air-gapped deployment

They're a small, senior team building for the long arc. Restrained in how we talk, ambitious in what we build. They'd rather ship one capability that compounds than ten features that don't.

They are not running an open search for this role. They keep it open because exceptional product managers do not appear on their schedule, and they would rather meet them than miss them.

Their enterprise product is organized around a small set of primitives, each with a product manager of record: the surfaces people use to work with agents, the agent runtime, the data and ontology layer that grounds agents in a customer's business, and the trust layer (identity, guardrails, audit, evals) that lets regulated buyers deploy agents instead of piloting them forever. When they hire from this posting, you take one of those areas end to end. Which one depends on where you are strongest and where the team is thinnest at the time.

What You'll Do

  • Own one product area end to end: discovery, specs, prototypes, ship, iterate. Not a slice of a roadmap you inherited.
  • Write the arguments that shape the roadmap. We write before we build, and the writing has to hold up against senior engineers.
  • Sit with customers and translate how their operations actually run into product, in their vocabulary.
  • Make and defend technical calls alongside the engineering lead for your area.
  • Hold the boundary between your area and its neighbors, and keep the platform coherent as the team grows.

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years in product management with increasing scope, including time at a startup or in genuine 0-to-1 ambiguity.
  • Owned end-to-end delivery of a product that people use, not a settings page or a program you coordinated.
  • Built with AI. Shipped an AI- or agent-powered product, and you design for probabilistic, non-deterministic behavior on purpose.
  • Engineering-grade technical judgment. You make and defend technical decisions alongside senior engineers.
  • Deep credibility in at least one of: enterprise platform and compliance products; data platforms, ontology, or knowledge systems; complex interactive product surfaces; eval and observability tooling.
  • First-principles thinker and sharp problem-definer. You frame the problem before reaching for a solution.
  • An excellent writer. You can produce a crisp argument, not just a ticket.

Nice to Have

  • Shipped to regulated buyers (financial services, healthcare, government) or dual-market (commercial + defense).
  • A design background, or a track record working shoulder-to-shoulder with strong designers.
  • Experience at an early-stage company that had to earn enterprise trust with a small team.
