HPC Principal, Applications Engineer (CPU)

We're hiring an HPC Principal, Applications Engineer (CPU) for a global semiconductor company delivering advanced SoC and MCU solutions for high-performance applications.

Our client has kept a key position in the worldwide Automotive MCU market for a long time, and aims to grow further in the future as a solid foundation of their business. CPU is one of the key IPs to define the competitiveness of MCUs, and market requirements such as Power, Performance, Area, and standardization with the ecosystem are rapidly changing with the SDV trend in Automotive. They are looking for a new colleague who can build competitive CPU subsystem solutions as an application engineer with them.

Job Description

• CPU platform sub system architect with KPI definition
• PPA benchmark leading (RTL level)
• Define the suitable design to target application
• Creating System requirement document

Must-Have

• Knowledge of Micro architecture for CPU and Bus system
• RTL design (HDL/VHDL design, Simulation, Synthesis) experience: 10 years
• Implementation design (Timing design, Layout): 5 years
• Software Design by Assembler and C lang: 3 years

Nice-to-Have

• CPU related design: 5 years
• ARM/RISC-V architechter knowledge
