We're hiring an Automotive MCU/SoC Test Development & Evaluation Automation Engineer for a global semiconductor company developing flagship automotive SoCs — large-scale chips integrating CPU, cache, memory, high-speed interfaces, AI, video, functional safety, and security — powering the intelligence and electrification of next-generation vehicles.

About the role

Automotive MCU/SoC products require extremely high test quality from the perspective of ensuring vehicle safety. On the other hand, due to the expansion of product series and the increasing complexity of product configurations, the man-hours and turnaround time (TAT) for test development and characterization work are increasing year by year.
Traditional development processes that rely on manpower and individual skills are no longer able to meet the demands of Time to Market, and there is a strong need to structure and automate the test development and evaluation work itself through technology and systems.

We're looking for engineers who want to take on this challenge — building the technology that systematizes and enhances test development and evaluation work, and in doing so, achieves real, lasting reductions in TAT and man-hours.

Responsibilities

Technology development to improve the efficiency of test development and characterization work for automotive MCU/SoC products.
Design and development of a system that links test specifications, characteristic evaluation data, mass production test data, etc.
Development of a system that enables the automatic construction and tracing of product test specifications from IP test specifications and product specifications.
Technology development to enable a system-based, integrated processing of tasks from the aggregation and analysis of characteristic evaluation data to the launch of mass production tests.
Consideration and implementation of automation technologies aimed at optimizing test specifications, improving test quality, and shortening the test development TAT (Turnaround Time).
Establishing stable data linkage and automated processing methods between multiple test-related systems.

Qualifications

【MUST】

Experience (5+ years) in semiconductor product testing/evaluation or programming.
Communication skills to ensure smooth collaboration with stakeholders.

【WANT】

Experience in creating test specifications or test patterns (5 years or more)
Experience in test program development (5 years or more)
Knowledge of semiconductor testing (HW/SW)
Experience in product characterization (5 years or more)
Experience in designing test fixtures and jigs (5 years or more)
Experience in application/system software development (5 years or more)
